IMOGEN STIRLING
is a performance poet, theatre maker and musician. Her music accolades include an 18 month tour around mainland Europe, receipt of the Alasdair Cameron Scholarship for her political musical theatre piece, BodiesUponTheGears, and work alongside Sir Tim Rice. An award-winning poetry slam champion, Imogen has performed extensively throughout the UK, including at Latitude Festival, Eden Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe, with her work featured on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Music Introducing. Imogen toured with hip hop poetry collective Words w/ Friends in summer 2018 before debuting her solo show #Hypocrisy at the Edinburgh Fringe. The show sold out its run and was long listed for the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award before transferring to London’s Theatre503 as part of their ‘Best of the Fest’ programme. #Hypocrisy is currently touring, with upcoming dates in Paris, Berlin and Barcelona, and will be showcasing at the Prague Fringe Festival 2019 before moving to Newcastle’s Alphabetti Theatre. The script is being published by Speculative Books in March. Imogen’s new show Love The Sinner will premiere with Dundee Rep Theatre in early 2019. Imogen also works for ground-breaking independent publisher, 404 Ink.

A mix of hip hop rhythms melancholic laments and angry outbursts, John believes in sharing enough of himself to make you a little uncomfortable.
John can be found performing on stage or writing in cafes all over the North East, anything to not sit still.

‘Twin Heights’ is an aspiring acoustic folk duo based in Newcastle performing original material all over the North of England. They combine poetic lyrics and aesthetic melodies to create a captivating and unique performance.
