Prancey Dog and Richyy Hetheringtin are very proud to announce the second HAPPY SUNDAYS event. Gigs for young people to watch young acts supporting a more established act. Tickets are available now with competitively priced tickets to encourage young uns to attend live music events (although anyone is welcome).

Opening the event we have Stasis, a young indie band that cites influences such as Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine and Mac Demarco… https://tinyurl.com/t3upryr

Second up is Pacer, a North East-based band with cracking, powerfully driven tunes evoking the indie-punk/hardcore scene of the 80s and 90s like a fantastic mix of Husker Du and early Wedding Present with probably more in-common with with current New York bands like Stove and Ovlov than many of their UK contemporaries.

Third on will be Sirocco an indie/alternative four piece from Newcastle that has made a real splash in the year since they started performing.

Headlining we have the superb dog years. When they are not setting broken bones or burying the dead, the Newcastle based indie rockers have been busying themselves recording their first studio album ‘A Flame in Waiting’. Ten years in the making, they’ve created a diverse and relentless racket: melodic and vitriolic, jagged and jangly, furious and forlorn, laced with sweet boy/girl harmonies from husband and wife Simon and Carly Fee. Each song bears the hallmarks of Dog Years’ warped lyricism and straight-up pop sensibility.
