Newcastle based progressive folk sextet Pons Aelius return to the Cumberland arms, joined by fantastic singer and cellist Ceitidh Mac.

Ceitidh Mac is a cello player and singer, who combines the belly-warming tones of the cello with her voice, communicating through an honest and intriguing take on songwriting. Like two voices, singing and cello blend together, accompanied by Will Hammond on Vibraphone and percussion. With a combination of improvisation and arrangements, playing original material as well as a creative mixture of traditional and folk music, they produce a distinctive combination of sounds; transfixing their audience.
